In the second quarter of 2025, the sandbox gaming landscape in Kenya showed varied trends across the top apps on the unified platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games experienced fluctuations in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Roblox saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $5.4K by the end of June, with an overall upward trend during the quarter. Downloads started at 16.7K and experienced a dip mid-quarter before rising to 17.4K. Active users showed resilience, increasing from 193.7K at the start to 256.5K by the end of the quarter.

Block Craft 3D：Building Game had a modest revenue increase, peaking at $34 in early April. Downloads experienced a decline from 3.2K to 1.9K over the quarter, while active users hovered around 9K, peaking at 11.8K in mid-April.

Town Building Life Simulator maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 700 and 2.2K. Active users increased notably from 2.8K to 5.3K by late May, showing a strong user engagement despite the absence of revenue.

Craft World Block Crazy 3D saw its downloads decrease significantly from 2.9K to below 700 by the end of June. Active users started strong at 4.3K but dropped to around 1.8K mid-quarter, before slightly rebounding to 3.5K.

RealmCraft: Block Craft World had a steady download range, starting at 1.2K and closing at 1.3K. Active users rose from 1.8K to 2.4K over the quarter, with a minor revenue peak at $1 in late May.
